Plexr at a glance
WHAT IS PLEXR?
PlexR® is the most advanced plasma technology excision device in the field of dermatological medicine in recent years.
It is not a laser, nor is it an electric scalpel, although it appears to work like one. This new system works by a very complex but very simple scientific physical principle at the same time.
PLEXR® provides extraordinary results which normally could only be expected after surgeries such as Blepharoplasty, Facelift and Necklift. PLEXR® technology is globally renowned for its use in the revolutionary PLEXR Plasma SoftSurgery. It offers a safe and effective alternative to invasive surgical cosmetic procedures, with little to no downtime.
Patients will enjoy long-term results from a fast and painless treatment involving no scalpels or sutures.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Plasma is the fourth state of matter, a fluid state similar to gaseous, but in which a certain proportion of its particles are electrically charged . They do not have electromagnetic balance so they are good electrical conductors and respond strongly to long-range electromagnetic interactions.
Through the ionization of the gases contained in the air, a small energy arc is obtained between the tip of the handpiece and the tissue, with which the affected dermal and epidermal areas are treated without transferring unwanted heat to the surrounding areas and without touching the skin, the result is a controlled burn at each of the “trigger points”.
Plexr Indications
Plexr does not use any current to generate the heat or to ionize the gas, there are no contraindications and it is completely safe for the patient.

NUMBER OF SESSIONS
Hygiene, hydration and caution with the sun.

The patient cannot expose the treated area to the sun 1 week before or 3 months after. The patient must use factor 50 photoprotective cream at least 3 months after treatment.

Wash the treated areas with water and mild soap 2 or 3 times a day until the scabs completely fall off.

The use of an antiseptic is recommended for the first four days after treatment. Keep the area very hydrated once the scabs have fallen.
PLEXR EVOLUTION
The procedure is followed by edema and / or inflammation that lasts from three to seven days and the appearance of small scabs of half a millimetre that fall off in between five and seven days afterwards.
A natural erythema continues and then the final revitalisation, both of variable duration.

It does not leave bruises or scars nor does it cause any damage to the surrounding tissues.

What does Plexr do?Plexr tightens the skin by burning small patches of it. Each zap from the prong of the Plexr device leaves a small burn mark and causes an instant tightening of the skin. The practitioner uses the device to create a pattern of these little marks along a crease of excess skin, which is what gives the instant shrinking effect.
